Men vs UCL (A) - 30/10/2024

BLWP 14 - 22 UCL

After an intense buildup to our first swim-off of the season, the boys hit the water ready to make an impact. Despite some challenges, including one player being sent out seven times, they delivered an impressive performance. We ended the first quarter at 5-2, but the team showed great resilience and teamwork.

Tp Balint, Tp Malek, and Snailfish got the scoring going with some fantastic goals, while our young "tadpoles" held their own against more experienced opponents. Malek stood out with two impressive long-range shots, keeping our spirits high. Our defense faced some struggles this quarter, but Harry made key saves to keep us competitive.

As fatigue set in and the score gap widened, Tp Balint rose to the occasion, leading the team with outstanding determination. He scored three goals and contributed solid assists and defense, helping us narrow the gap. Though we ultimately lost, the final score was 22-14, highlighting the potential of our team. We’ll regroup and come back stronger!
