BLWP 09 - 17 Southampton

Match started with our team in the deep end. With a great line up and a team ready to show what they’re worth. Chundy shark at the goal gave a stellar performance showing off some new tricks he gained during training and stopped a lot of shots from the other team. Tp Hussein and Tp Silas got pressured at the pit a not able to maintain the ball for long due to the tight defense. Despite that, the main scorer of our team Flaccid Brexit managed to score two nice goals giving the team some breathing air and helping maintain a small goal difference.

In the second quarter, our team got the shallow end gaining an advantage. This was Flaccid Brexit’s time to shine and he did so magnificently. He managed to steal a lot of balls and get 3 penalties which he scored as well as confusing the enemy team making one of their players score at their goal. On top of that Tp Hussein in pit a managed to score a goal helping the team move forward and reach the score of 7.

In the third quarter, all was going great until things began to go downhill. Tp Malek got injured and couldn’t play anymore; Snailfish and Tp Cole got some majors and things weren’t looking so good. The other team took advantage of that and scored 6 goals to our 0, increasing the goal difference to a point where the team’s spirits were tense.

Unfortunately, before we knew it the final quarter was a disaster and we had to bear witness to the decimation of our forces - Tp Cole got wrapped; Snailfish got wrapped; Golden BeHinde reached two majors, impacting his ability to go all out; Flaccid Brexit got into a fight with the referee who gave him a red card, which kicked him out of the game. That’s when hope was starting to get lost. Despite that, the remaining team members gave a brilliant fight to maintain the score and to honour the fallen.
