Weekly Update 10 - 02/12/2018
Hello everyone,
Officially the last week and a half of splashy time for this calendar year! It’s a very big one!
Massive thank you first of all to everyone that donated and took part in our Movember effort over the last month- we raised a monumental £529, smashing last year’s total! Well done to everyone involved :nail_care:
We start this week off on Monday with our last boys + girls training, and our last session with the coach. 5 matches follow this training session, and our coach has a big night planned, so it’s pivotal you’re there.
Tuesday sees our undefeated LUSL 1A warriors travel to West London to take on ICSM 1s, who were weakened last weak when they were no match for LUSL 1B. Should be a very exciting contest, away fans very very much appreciated (and they let me ref last time, which definitely swung things our favour, so who knows what they’ll do this week). Waffles may or may not follow 🤬:broken_heart:
On Wednesday, we get our physique’s ready for an important night with our usual combination of S&C and Women’s Fitness. With our bodies rippling and toned, we look to celebrate the end of the ICAs with TABLES, with a SHAG calendar photo shoot break sprinkled in. This is always a massive night at the Griff, make sure you get yourself down early for what will no doubt be a very busy evening of debauchery.
On Thursday, there is unfortunately NO TRAINING.
On Saturday, we have arguably the best night of the year- Christmas Dinner! All information supplied by the social secs on the event page.
12 hours later, 13 fresh and healthy men will embark on their first big Away Day, as they take on Essex in sunny Colchester. This leaves York Hall free for the equally fresh and healthy women. Having unfortunately been shut out of this session for the last 5 Sunday’s due to men’s BUCS matches, we hope to see lots of girls down to prepare for their 2 matches coming up the following week!
