VOLUNTEERING: Sign up using the link in the main chat. I have emailed so we may be starting this week. Stay tuned to find out….

SWIMATHON: SIGN UP NOW, the social media graphics will be coming out this week. Please share these on your Instagram story and send the donation link to family GCs for example. Let’s keep up our amazing fundraising effort this year with another great showing after the really successful charity tournament. I will be opening up the sign-up form to a couple of other groups of people at beginning of Feb so please get your name in there ASAP.

Our very BUSY week has a plan that follows this:

Tuesday MORNING sees the first early morning training session of the year. We will be gracing the lanes of Mile End at 7:00am for a cheeky 1hr session. As Merger Swimming counts for ACTUAL POINTS this year it is imperative we win all 6x for BL. Book your ticket on the Better Website (no refunds for tickets)

Wednesday will hopefully see us take on our first shifts as foodbank VOLUNTEERS, more details to follow. If not, we will be back in basement in WC for land training at 2-3pm. This is all to build you up for the major event of the day… get ready, steady as it’s the Great BLWP Bake Off. Commencing at 6pm promptly at Floyer, make sure you have your ingredients (see Miracle-Flo’s FB event) and get creative. We will then be heading to The Griff for FINAL WHISTLE and a boogie. Not one to miss.

Paddling Pool Poplar returns on Thursday at 8:30-10pm. Every session counts towards UH and Merger selection….

Saturday sees Anglerfish’s Angels (not sure if that will stick) travel down to a place very close to my heart to take on Essex). More details on the women’s chat.

Sunday is for the BOYZ at Poplar. And for the GALZ in Southampton where they re-unite with BLWPs most loved external MedEd iBSc student.

With love and respect,
