Weekly Update 2 - 05/09/2020+1
Hello everyone, I hope everyone had a fab week last week and our appetites have been whetted for week two! We had a great start to pre-season last week with our two swimming sessions and land training led by our amazing captains and the opportunities to see each other do not stop rolling as we have another action-packed week ahead of us – including our long-awaited return to TABLES at THE GRIFF – seriously not one to miss!
As always, these are the upcoming dates for your diary, hoping to see lots of your faces over the next few weeks:
Wednesday 15th September = Senior Curry and Tables
Wednesday 22nd September = Fresher Curry and Tables
Sunday 26th September = Fresher Taster Session (NO SENIORS)
Monday 27th September = FIRST SESSION FOR SENIORS
You have one more week to pre-order your BL Swimming hats at the cutdown price of £4. Pre-orders close at 23:59 Sunday 12th September, after this, the hats will cost you £6. Would really advise everyone to purchase one as they look very nice and will be great for controlling that long hair @Bailey.
Just a reminder, if you’re rusty with the swimming booking system, you will need to create and download the Better UK app. Link for that is here: https://better.legendonlineservices.co.uk/enterprise/account/login You can find Mile End under Tower Hamlets and London Fields under Hackney. If you have any questions on this please message your captains who will be more than happy to assist you! If you cannot make any pre-season swims, the sets will be posted on mainchat, the pre-season FB event and under the Google Calendar. Weekly Schedule
Monday 6th September – Anglerfish’s reign as supreme leader of girls begins at Mile End at 7:00pm, be great to see you there for her pre-season splish splash.
Wednesday 8th September – EVENT OF THE WEEK, Tables returns to The Griff. Piscivore and Miracle-Flo are in for a Baptism of Fire as we take up our historic position at 7pm for a 7:30pm start.
Thursday 9th September – Barney’s back at Mile End Pool at 7:00pm for another swim session to wash away all those Griff sins.
Saturday 11th September – Anglerfish leads her second session of the week at Viccy Park at 9:30am, I’ve heard circuits are on the menu… (live location drop at 9:15am)
