Weekly Update 7 - 12/11/2018

Hello everyone,

Apologies for missing last week’s edition, know how much this means to everyone, but TOUR proved too potent (big shoutout to Curry Shark for organising a fantastic event).

First of all, make sure you support the brave Mo-Bros and Mo-Sistas taking part in Movember this month. It really is even more painful than it looks, make sure you go and give a couple £ to https://moteam.co/bl-water-polo?mc=1 for a very important cause.

This week, and rest of the semester, is packed with matches.

Women start the week off with a caulker at the Shadwell fortress vs Essex. There will of course be no training, but make sure you come down and support the girls in a huge match.

Wednesday sees the return of our usual deadly duo of S&C and Women’s fitness, with the Women gracing the hall of Laird at the usual time once again. The social secs demand a classic tables in the evening- after a hectic and diverse couple of weeks, it’s important to go back to the basics. Not one to miss!

On Thursday, we thankfully have a much needed training session, with our Coach! Attendance to this session has been poor in recent weeks. Captains have not been happy at all. We need to see you down, especially as Thursday is the impossible training session to hold down all year round- you will miss it once it’s gone. With so few trainings in between the many matches over the next month or two, make sure you message your Captains if you can’t make it or face their wrath.

On Sunday, the men will continue their monopoly of York Hall with another massive fixture vs Cambridge 1s in our BUCS Cup run. Really good game to come down to support us if you can, the magic of the cup is a sight to behold.
